Sally Ride Science Festival
University of Washington-Bothell
October 4, 2014
For more than 10 years, Sally Ride Science Festivals have delivered a fun-filled day of science and socializing to middle-school students across the country. We’ve held over 90 festivals all over the country, averaging anywhere from 900 to 1200 students, teachers, and parents, at each festival.
To sign-up as an individual, click Festival Tickets in the left-hand menu. To sign-up a group of students, click Group Tickets. If you have been sponsored by an organization, click Sponsored Tickets.
Our festivals—sponsored by partners such as UW Bothell, Boeing, Google, and many other business and community leaders—put STEM projects directly into the hands of middle school kids, and are an ideal way for educators and parents to ignite student interest in STEM fields and careers.
With workshops, experiments, street fairs, and more, a Sally Ride Science Festival can help today’s students become tomorrow’s STEM leaders, and is an unequaled way for a sponsoring partner to generate awareness not only in its own backyard, but across the nation.
We are honored to have former NASA Astronauts Wendy Lawrence, John Fabian and Korea's First Astronaut, Yi So-Yeon with us for the Festival.
